MetaAge leverages its core alcompetencies and igns with various local care initiatives and employee-driven activities, effectively implementing the company's commitment to giving back to society.

2023 Public Welfare Project of MetaAge

MetaAge has sponsored a total of NT$2,140,000 this year to organizations such as the BenQ Foundation, the STP Seed Talent Program, Women in AI Taiwan, and Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development. Details of our social contributions are as follows:

• In 2023, MetaAge Group responded to the blood donation activity of the Association of Neihu Science Park, with a total of two sessions and 122 blood donations.
• Our employees participated in beach clean-up activities organized by the BenQ Foundation at Zhuwei Fishing Harbor in Taoyuan, Songbai Fishing Harbor in Taichung, and Zhuangwei Sand Dunes in Yilan. Nearly 600 employees from 25 companies within the BenQ Group took part in these events, with MetaAge employees contributing a total of 120 hours of service.
• MetaAge has sponsored the BenQ Foundation's rice and wheat field adoption program, supporting farmers in Changhua's Xizhou and Hsinchu's Nanpu in adopting sustainable farming practices.
• Eight of our employees volunteered for a community service project organized by the BenQ Foundation, assisting local farmers in Gongguan Township, Miaoli County with the harvest of fresh jujubes.

Our company is dedicated to both physical and digital community engagement, with a focus on promoting digital literacy and education.

• Our company has invested 120,000 NT dollars in the Seed Talent Program (STP), providing training funds, scholarships, corporate visits, and free courses. Through this program, we have successfully cultivated 11 digital talents.
• In collaboration with the National Taiwan Normal University’s Human Resources Development Institute, we have successfully trained 15 students to enhance their digital tool proficiency.
• We have sponsored the 2023 Women in AI Taiwan Hackathon with a contribution of NT$20,000 to encourage more women to participate in the AI and technology fields.

Charity Events of BenQ Foundation: MetaAge is devoted to fulfilling its corporate social responsibilitiesand is proactively making contributions to society. Throughout 2022, a total of $3,000,000 was donated to the BenQ Foundation. BenQ Foundation, adhering to the four major goals, namely, digital opportunity, good-will education, cultural value, and environmental sustainability, has been concerned about the urban-rural gap in digital developments and proactively promoting the idea of original culture over the long term. It reaches out to tribes and sets foot in fields to demonstrate the proactive action it takes in the promotion of respective charity events to promote co-prosperity and common good in society.
