SYSAGE’s Consolidated Revenue in August 2021 Reaches NT$1.013B

SYSAGE Technology Co., Ltd. (TWSE:6112), a professional ICT solution provider, announced its consolidated revenue of August 2021 at NT$1.013 billion after its own closing of accounts, up by 0.42% YoY. Although the cumulative revenue during January-August decreased by 15.35% YoY to NT$7.832 billion as a result of material (chip) shortages upstream and the influence of COVID-19, the revenue returned to the level of last August thanks to lean management in distribution and investment deployment, up by 0.42% YoY.

SYSAGE merged with Corex (PTY) LTD on January 4, 2021, through a business combination under common control. According to the IFRS, it needed to restate the consolidated revenue in the last year. After restating, the operating income of August 2021 decreased by 4.94% YoY, and the cumulative consolidated revenue during January-August decreased by 20.14% YoY.

In view of the strong demand for digital transformation across the globe, related IT demands will continue to escalate, according to Michael Lee, chairperson of SYSAGE. According to “IDC FutureScape: Worldwide Digital Transformation 2021 Predictions”, digital transformation has become the core operational strategy of businesses worldwide. With the intervention of the pandemic and market condition, businesses in all industries are increasing investments in digital transformation. The estimated compound annual growth rate for 2020-2023 will be up to 15.5%, with direct investments over US$6.8 trillion in total.

Based on the current trends, besides providing advanced hardware and software solutions needed for cloud and digital transformation, SYSAGE teamed up with independent software vendors (ISV) to hold a series of webinars in September and October. With topics covering cloud computing, digital transformation, talent training and planning, and key contents for industrial applications, these webinars aimed at finding specific directions for the transformation of Taiwanese enterprises to strengthen the market’s specific awareness of digital transformation, in order to develop advantages for the digital transformation market and create steadily growing benefits and values for shareholders and customers.

According to IDC’s prediction, Taiwan’s public cloud market will continue to grow to a scale of US$1.057 billion in 2021, with a compound annual growth rate of 21.4%. Major market growth is attributed to the accelerated development of the pandemic, the pace of investments in digital transformation of both governments and enterprise, and such new working and learning styles as remote work, videoconferencing, and distance learning that require the massive use of resources from the public cloud infrastructure. With strong confidence in the future growth in cloud-related domains, and alongside such major cloud platforms as AWS, Google, IBM, and Oracle, and the new SYSAGE ISV cloud marketplace, through a series of complete cloud and digital ecosystem strengths, such as cloud and on-premises integration and hybrid cloud application, SYSAGE fulfills the demands of customers from all industries and thereby maximizes profit from the cloud market with total solutions.
